Trade Qualified Cabinetmaker - Holz Kitchens & Joinery

Location: Peakhurst, Sydney (servicing Sydney metro area)

We are seeking a Trade Qualified Cabinetmaker with 3–5 years’ experience post-apprenticeship to join our growing team. You will work across a range of high-end residential and commercial projects, manufacturing custom joinery pieces to the highest standards of quality and precision.

This role requires a strong technical foundation in cabinetmaking, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional outcomes. You’ll work in our Peakhurst workshop as well as on-site, collaborating with team members and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and install bespoke cabinetry and joinery to high-end specifications
• Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings and plans
• Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure precision in measuring, cutting, and assembly of custom components
• Work with premium materials including timber, veneer, laminate, stone integration, and hardware systems
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Collaborate with team members and external partners to achieve project outcomes)
• Assist with quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute ideas for improved processes, workflows, and innovation in craftsmanship
  
   

Required Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent trade qualification)
• 3–5 years’ experience post-apprenticeship in cabinetmaking and joinery
• Strong ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and plans
• Proven experience with custom, high-end joinery manufacturing
• High level of attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Competency with digital tools and modern machinery
• Problem-solving mindset – able to find solutions in workshop and on-site challenges
• Strong time management and organisational skills
  Team-oriented with good communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn and adopt new processes and technologies
• Current Driver’s Licence
